Completed in 2019, The Dune House is a serene coastal retreat that embodies laid-back luxury through a minimalist, whitewashed aesthetic. EPDA led the architectural concept, interior design, and full execution, ensuring every element was infused with harmony, flow, and natural warmth.

Project Details

This project presented a unique challenge: crafting a space that offered seamless indoor-outdoor living while maintaining privacy and shelter from the coastal climate. EPDA addressed this by designing open-plan interiors that transition effortlessly to expansive decked areas, inviting in natural light without compromising comfort.

The design draws inspiration from contemporary beach homes, favoring airy volumes, soft timber accents, and organic textures. The vaulted ceiling over the entertainment area provides a subtle sense of grandeur, while the overall palette — whites, soft neutrals, and wood — enhances a timeless coastal elegance.

EPDA’s interior design team paid careful attention to detail, layering textures and furniture to reflect a casual yet curated ambiance. The result is a dwelling that feels luxurious but never overstated — perfect for relaxed living and elegant entertaining.
