Project Overview
Completed in 2017, Modern Bali merges tropical architectural elements with modern luxury. EPDA’s concept and architectural design emphasize natural materials, seamless indoor-outdoor living, and a lush, carefully curated landscape that complements the home’s aesthetic.
Project Details
The residence features a sophisticated blend of materials, where large ceramic tiles and warm wood paneling clad the exterior walls, creating a dynamic textural interplay that balances modernity with organic warmth. The balconies boast seamless glass balustrades, ensuring uninterrupted views and a light, airy feel.
A signature element is the roof’s overhang — designed in a Bali-inspired style — that extends generously over the balconies, providing both shade and architectural character. This design choice fosters an inviting transition between indoor and outdoor spaces while protecting the home from sun and rain.
The surrounding gardens are lush and meticulously landscaped, with intentional placement of plants to enhance privacy and visual appeal. Interlock paving connects the main house to the property entrance, blending functionality with aesthetic flow and reinforcing the sense of arrival.
This project highlights EPDA’s ability to create contextually sensitive designs that integrate architecture, landscape, and lifestyle seamlessly.
